Another great event by Cannademix. This time, at Rutgers University in Newark, NJ. Even greater, an on-site expungement clinic! Brilliant. The Legacy to Legal event consisted of speakers who were pioneers in the cannabis industry. We’re talking decades of hard work in the legacy market and outstanding patience to finally work in this space legally. Without their effort, we wouldn’t have a foundation.
Key subjects discussed at the event were how minorities pioneered the culture of the cannabis industry but were the most left out when legalization came around along with advocacy and education.
Some notable speakers were Assistant Dean Jennifer Maden of Rohrer College of Business of Rowan University, co-founder of Humble Bloom Solonje Burnett, Legacy Legend Freeway Rick Ross (the real Rick Ross), Jelani Gibson of NJ Cannabis Insider, and hip-hop artist and co-founder of the National Cannabis Party - Reginald Noble better known by his stage name - Redman.
